Emphasis in this subject is placed on students experiencing the tourism industry as aspiring travel professionals. The selection of interstate or international destinations varies according to global conditions.

Industry exposure also enhances the graduates' ability to perform effectively in the workplace.

Work Experience #

This very important component of the full time course provides invaluable practical experience with the day-to-day operations within the tourism industry. It gives students the opportunity to put into practice newly acquired knowledge and skills. The experience also offers students valuable industry exposure and forms a basis for developing industry networks and gaining employment.

# Students are encouraged to source their own placements. Angliss Travel will arrange placements if students are unsuccessful themselves. Work experience is scheduled to be undertaken on consecutive Wednesdays over a five week period.
